  • September 27 (Friday) 6pm, Eddy 100: SOIRÉE ART (“CRAFT”) ET FRANÇAIS : – Join French Club officers for an hour of crafts (bracelets, origami, shopping bag making, fortune tellers, and more… you choose what you enjoy), snacks, and some fun time with other French students. It will be fun and relaxing! If you don’t like crafts, no problem, just come to hang out!
  • September 26 (Thursday) 3:30-4:00, Clark C262: ATELIER DE PRONONCIATION – Niveaux 100-200:. Come learn some tips to be more aware of your pronunciation of French and improve it.
  • September 25 (Wednesday) 3pm, LSC 324: CULTURAL PRESENTATION : Vers une décolonisation du développement agricole en Afrique de l’Ouest, by Dr. Jessie Luna, CSU Dept of Sociology
  • September 18 (Wednesday) 4-5pm, LSC 372: EDUCATION ABROAD in a French-speaking country: Q&A, led by Dr. Gretchen Steidley and returning students from France: Interested in studying abroad in one of the upcoming semesters? Come, listen student experiences, and hear about great programs!

  • September 15 (Sunday) 4pm in the grassy area between the Eddy and Education buildings (west of Clark C; free parking south of the quad): PIQUE-NIQUE DE BIENVENUE : open to ALL students of French and the French-speaking community: so come to get to know each other better and your French instructors while chatting, eating and playing games. This autumn, Ishmael Johnson is organizing a series of relaxed French meetups in Fort Collins. The gatherings will take place on the first Sunday mornings of the month, starting on September 7th, followed by October 5th, November 2nd, and December 14th.

Each meetup begins at 8:00 AM at Schrimsaw Tattooing, located at 1008 N College Ave, Fort Collins, 80524.

Here is information about a French summer camp in Fort Collins from July 29 to August 2. It’s organized by Rachel Macfarlane for children and their friends.
